A 12-month follow-up prospective cohort study of inpatient traffic accident survivors in five Benin reference hospitals, measuring the prevalence of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (26.4%) and its associated factors. The study points to patients' financial vulnerability and recommends early detection and integration of psychological care.
